The Good AI Company

AI advisory, assurance and delivery

Governed ambition.

We help leadership teams in regulated organisations decide where AI is worth it, and where it isn't — then build what survives the scrutiny.

Two colleagues reviewing analysis together in a boardroom

The problem

Everyone is selling you AI. Almost nobody is telling you the truth about it.

Vendors arrive with demonstrations. The board asks what the strategy is. Internally, nobody is quite positioned to say which of it is real, what it would genuinely cost, or what it would break on the way in. So the decision gets made on whoever presented best — or it doesn't get made at all.

We are the independent voice in the room.

How we work

The Assay Method.

An assay is the test that establishes whether metal is what it claims to be, before anyone stamps a mark on it. We apply the same order of operations to AI: test, then certify, then ship.

01

Frame

Start at the top. Executive intent, business outcomes and constraints, established before anyone opens a laptop or mentions a use case.

02

Assay

Work down through function and department level. Score every candidate on value and feasibility. Narrow to the two or three worth starting now.

03

Govern

Establish decision rights, oversight and the evidence trail for what we recommend — before the build, not after the audit finding.

04

Deliver

Ship into production with monitoring, escalation paths and a named owner inside the business who can run it without us.

Everyone tells us what AI can do. Nobody tells us what we should do.

Why us

We work to published standards, not house opinion.

Anyone can assert that an AI system is sound. Very few can show the working. Our engagements are structured against recognised frameworks, so that what we hand over is something your second line, your auditors and your regulator can independently check.

Who we are

Meet the team.

The team consists of AI experts and founders working at the forefront of AI across the UK, the US and Africa, with a combined decade of experience in AI advisory, product development and delivery.

Emmanuel Machaya

Emmanuel Machaya

Founder and Principal Consultant

United Kingdom and Zimbabwe

Emmanuel has spent over five years advising enterprise clients across the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States on AI — helping leadership teams set the strategy, define the objectives, and adopt AI safely and productively rather than experimentally.

He has worked alongside industry leaders including NVIDIA on bringing compliant AI into regulated environments, and founded The Good AI Company to do that work independently.

Justice Mukaro

Justice Mukaro

Partner

United States and Zimbabwe

Justice is the founder of Strateji, a United States technology company building solutions to data sovereignty challenges — the question of who holds a nation's data, and under whose rules.

He has an extensive network across Africa and has spoken at government forums worldwide, briefing leaders and public institutions on the risks that follow from weak AI governance.
